According to the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, 23 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country.
Currently, the foci are active in:
1. Klos municipality, in the place called Skarreth Linos-Guri i Bardhë forest economy, there was a fire in an area with beech forest. During yesterday, the intervention of the fire brigade was made to control and isolate the hearth, and today the work to extinguish the fire will continue.
2. The municipality of Durrës, in the village of Shetaj, has continued the field work for the isolation and extinguishing of the fires. The operation follows.
3. Kurbin municipality, in Mal Bardhë village, the fire developed with low intensity in an area with heather, gorse and juniper, in the area called "Maja e Suka". The fire is being monitored.
4. Shkodër Municipality, in the place called Bjeshka e Bregut, the fire broke out around 23.00 on 6.8.2022 and until today around 04 in the morning it has been very problematic, summer residences (stables), cattle, bees, etc. have been endangered.
327 operational forces of the Fire and Rescue Service, Armed Forces, municipal forces, police forces, employees of the Administration of Protected Areas, forest service, volunteer forces and 25 fire engines were engaged in the operation to extinguish the outbreaks. .
