Balluku at the SP Congress: We will build the underwater energy transmission line with Italy

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, during her speech at the SP Congress, said that the construction of the underwater energy line with Italy will soon begin.
"Albania is a country to take as an example for the diversification of renewable energy sources that after successful auctions we managed to have projects for solar and wind production. We have a long-term plan for diversifying these resources so that in 2030 we add 4 terawatts to domestic production, turning the country into a net exporting country. These are real projects. A few days ago we agreed with the Italian government, and with the United Emirates, who have decided to be part of the project, we have started to conceive the construction of the underwater transmission line between Albania and Italy. This transmission line will be one of the most successful projects until 2023", said Balluku.
