Within the week, controls at all border points with Kosovo will be removed

The tourist season has significantly increased the flow at the border crossing point between Albania and Kosovo of Qaf Morin.

Contrary to the simplified regime without controls that is applied in Morina, in Qafë Morina the border authorities still continue with the verification procedures.

In relation to this issue, the Minister of Interior of Kosovo has said that within this week the other border crossing points between Albania and Kosovo will pass with a simplified regime without controls.

Meanwhile, residents of the entire border area between Albania and Kosovo, which is about 30 kilometers, will be allowed to easily cross the territories of the two countries, avoiding border control procedures.
