The snowfall has been intense in the southeast of Albania.

The road authorities reacted immediately to keep the axes open, sending more than 15 snow removal vehicles, which worked during the night to ensure the passability of the roads Korçë - Dardë, Korçë - Voskopojë, Kamenica - Erseke and Zęblak - Dogana e Gorica. the Great.
So, the axis from Maja e Qafë Qarri to the entrance of Erseka is blocked by snow, causing great difficulties for traffic. For this reason, the road authorities have asked the drivers to use the old road, which is passable without problems.
The snowfall has also caused damage to the electrical network, cutting off the power supply in several villages of Vithkuq and Lekas administrative units in the municipality of Korça, as well as in Leskovik, in the municipality of Kolonja.
Authorities urge motorists to use winter tires to avoid incidents on snowy roads.
