The Council of Ministers has approved the opening of Albanian embassies in Kenya, India and Indonesia.

HASAN'S POST:

Albania will soon have its own diplomatic missions in Kenya, India and Indonesia, thus strengthening the Albanian passport in the world. In the Council of Ministers, today we approved the opening of embassies in these 3 countries, starting from the medium and long-term strategic objectives, driven by the continuous demand, to be even more effective in international relations.

This initiative was taken by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, evaluating the specific contribution and weight that each country projects in the international arena and the ever greater role of Albania in international organizations.

Tourism and the expansion of the map of the movements of Albanian citizens for tourism purposes, is another argument, on which MEPJ relied for the proposal of opening 3 new representations. After today's decision, the number of Albanian representations in the world reaches 60, among which 44 embassies, 9 general consulates and 9 permanent missions.
