Kreshnik Bajraktari has been appointed as the new director of the port of Durrës.

Bajraktari replaces Pirro Vengu in this post, who this Wednesday was sworn in before President Begaj as Minister of Defense.

Vengu was appointed as a minister by Prime Minister Rama, who announced his decision during the Congress of the Socialist Party held on Sunday.

The new director of the port of Durrës has finished his higher studies at the Polytechnic University of Tirana. Before being appointed to this position, he held the position of advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.

Also, Anita Jella and Bledar Maksuti will be the two new prosecutors who will be added to the SPAK staff. All eight members of the High Prosecution Council who were present at today's meeting voted in favor of the appointment of Jella and Maksut.

The two new prosecutors will serve for a 9-year term without the right to reappointment.
