The citizens of Kukës voted this Sunday, in the early local elections, for the new mayor.
The voting process was closed at 19:00, while according to the CEC, 45.63% participated in the election. Fewer citizens exercised their right to vote, compared to the elections of May 14, where the socialist Safet Gjici won, whose mandate was short-lived due to the sexual scandal in which he was involved.
52.79% of citizens participated in the May 14 elections.
