Prime Minister Rama held a meeting today on school security, the addition of security officers and emphasized education.
"Why are we not Switzerland? Because for too long we have been left behind in knowledge. It is knowledge that turns natural resources into common wealth and enables the country to transform faster," said Rama.
Therefore, the central focus is on education and investment in schools.
"New schools are the fruit of a 10-year investment, where according to the volume of funds made available, we have managed to build and rebuild in 10 years more than in 40 years combined.
It's not just the quantity, it's also the quality.
We have also focused on the empowerment of the teacher's authorities and the continuous motivation of the teaching staff, which has been done in all necessary ways, above all by establishing as a strategic motive the continuous increase of teachers' salaries. Today, with the last intervention made in June, we managed to have an average salary of 950 euros. A very significant increase within which there is also an escalation according to experience. Our goal, Albania 2030 champion in the region in all aspects and join the EU", said Rama.
