Due to the cold temperatures that have affected the country and the decrease of temperatures in the following days, Tirana Water Supply and Sewerage advises citizens to take preventive measures to protect the internal water supply network system and water meters, so as not to be damaged.
It is advisable to cover or insulate supply pipes that are outdoors.

“Important announcement!
Due to the low temperatures in the following days, Tirana Water Supply and Sewerage, notifies all citizens of Tirana to take some preventive measures to protect the internal water supply network system, including water meters, so as not to damage them as consequence of atmospheric conditions.
Please take care of the pipes / installations inside your property, including water meters.
We remind all citizens that they are responsible for protecting water pipes and water meters (indoor or outdoor, near housing), from cold air.
We suggest that on ground floors, where water supply pipes are more exposed to the outside environment and leakage possibilities are potential, please take measures by covering or insulating them to achieve optimal protection.
