The elections in Kukës, today about 46 thousand citizens re-elect the mayor
Today, the citizens of Kukes will go to the polling stations again to elect the new mayor.
In this election process, as announced by the Kukës police, 99 police officers are engaged who will provide the election materials in the 74 voting centers and in the vote counting station near KEZAZ no. 11 Kukës.
The process will take place in 74 Voting Centers, one of which is in the detention facility in Kukës.
In these partial elections, there will be a ballot, in which number 1 is held by the socialist candidate Albert Halilaj, while Emri Vata, who represents the "Together We Win" coalition, is ranked second.
Kukësi goes to the elections today, after the video-scandal where the former mayor Safet Gjici appears having intimate relations inside the premises of the municipality office. Since June 24, he is in custody and accused by SPAK of "passive corruption".
