The XXI Edition of the "Tirana International Film Festival" closes, Veliaj: It is a temple of culture, now a tradition of Tirana

Yesterday evening, the XXI edition of TIFF - Tirana International Film Festival closed. The TIFF closing ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. He appreciated the work that the Marubi Academy does for culture and art in the city of Tirana.
"When something happens in the city it's an event, but when it happens every year and with the same seriousness, it turns into a beautiful tradition. There have been many activities in Tirana, but in this festival something is happening that affects people deeply because it is a cathedral, a temple of thinking and reflection. For this I am grateful to you", said Veliaj.
From this film festival, one of the longest running in the country, films are selected which qualify to compete at the Oscars and the European Film Awards.
