In the biography to be published on December 8, writer and friend of Queen Elizabeth's husband, Gyles Brandreth, claims that the late monarch suffered from a form of bone marrow cancer, the most common symptom of which is bone pain.

"I had heard that the Queen had a form of myeloma, cancer of the bone marrow, which would explain her fatigue and weight loss and those 'mobility issues' we were often told about in the last year of her life.
