What in recent years was defined as the 'Barbie and Ken syndrome' seems to continue to have thousands of followers all over the world, thanks to the great success of the movie 'Barbie' directed by Greta Gerëig and co-produced by Mattel itself.

Mattel is the company that has created the doll since 1959.

The Barbie and Ken syndrome, as it is known, certainly affects the most fragile subjects, with not well-defined identities, who, through long, expensive and painful operations, try to resemble these unrealistic characters. It has already been proven that this is a real psychiatric disorder.

Today we are facing a new trend started by a very popular American influencer on TikTok, Isabelle Lux, who very enthusiastically and loudly claims her 'invention', Barbie Botox, i.e. a medical, aesthetic treatment that through injecting toxins such as botulinum into the trapezius muscles located at the base of the neck temporarily paralyzes them, thus making the person's neck appear longer and thinner, just like that of the famous Barbie.

This is something that the two doctors invited to the ZŢMeMiraPodcast, Rezarta Kapaj and Burak Koza, also talked about.
