Camille is the real fashion icon in 'Emily in Paris'
By Emi Seiti / Amid the exaggerated, noisy scenes of Emily, Camille's French-style interpretation stands out. Emily In Paris and her unrealistic outfits that we still love those outfits, is back for a second season this year and I have already made an important decision. Emily Cooper may be the main character, but it is Camille's dresses that get all the public attention.
In my opinion Emily will never turn into a refined Parisian, unlike Audrey Hepburn full of French fashion icons. Even in the second season she has an abundance of bold combinations, bright colors, high platform heels, leather gloves that are absolutely meaningless. As Emily continues to let her outfits gossip about her, Camille is quite different, a fabulous change in Parisian style. I do not see any evolution from Emily this second season unfortunately.
Camille's character is the emblem of Parisian elegance and this has been understood since the first season. Her style along with that of Sylvie leave us speechless.
Camille wears iconic French-style pieces with a contemporary flavor, occasionally scenographic but certainly refined.
Like the jacket, the favorite of French women. Camille wears a max Valentino sweatshirt and shoes from Roger Vivier.
"Punctuates" her look catches the eye of the Parisian imagination, like a bucket bag signed by the French brand 'Patou' or a travel bag "LongChamp" one of the favorite models of Parisians.
Wear striped dresses, but in a more casual version, with a cropped sweater and baggy jeans as Camille did.
When it comes to a special occasion, choose the color black, as any Parisian does. A little black dress from "Saint Laurent" glamorous and cool. Or a leather jumpsuit by Isabelle Marant.
A rare moment in red ?! Camille ?! Ah, yes she is on vacation and is allowed to step out of her monochrome frame for a moment if she wishes.
