Tragic accident in Croatia/ It is suspected that the driver fell asleep

12 people lost their lives and 34 others were injured in an accident on the Zagreb-Gorican highway this Saturday morning.
The serious accident happened around 05:30 this morning.
The bus was carrying pilgrims who had set off for Medjugorje from the Polish town of Tomaszow Mazowiecki.
The bus fell into the canal. There are still no official data on the causes of the accident or the circumstances in which it happened, but the first suspicions are that the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The police are investigating.
