Iran has not abolished the Morality Police, nor is it making any changes to the wearing of the Hijab. This is what Golshifteh Farahani, the Iranian-French actress who lives in Paris, said.
Her statement in an Instagram post comes after media reported that Iran was making revisions to its hijab law following mass protests over the death of Mahsa Amin.
"Dear citizens of the world, the mandatory Hijab is where it used to be. Nothing has changed. Political prisoners are still in prisons. Their lives at stake. People are squeezed economically, mentally and physically to extreme limits. The dictatorship is there with all the vicious criminals who support the fascist regime. We fight until freedom. absolute freedom"
