Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris will reopen its doors to visitors on December 7.
French President Emmanuel Macron went to Notre-Dame Cathedral on Friday with a television crew to show the world the restored cathedral, five and a half years after the building was partially destroyed by fire.
One of the most famous buildings in the world - the Gothic jewel of the French capital - was closed in 2019 when it caught fire, causing extensive damage and resulting in a repair cost of €700 million.
