It takes courage to get married! In difficult moments do not give up, but keep going and rediscover love
It takes courage to get married! This is what Pope Francis said during the Mass on the occasion of the World Meeting of Families.
"Family love pushes and teaches children to fly. It is not possessive, it is always free. And then in difficult moments, in crisis, all families have crisis, please do not take the easy way out, 'I will go back to my mother', no, go on boldly. "There will be difficult moments, always go on and rediscover love", adds Papa.
"The family is the place of meeting, of separation, of coming out of oneself to welcome the other and to be close to him. It is the first place where man learns to love, but that as we affirm the beauty of the Family, we feel more than ever that we must protect it, not allow it to be polluted by the poisons of selfishness, individualism, culture of indifference and abuse, and thus lose its 'DNA'. Enough with anxious and overly protective parents, who grab their children by the arms, protecting them from any minimal distress and suffering. "There is nothing more encouraging for children than to see their parents live marriage and family as a mission, with fidelity and patience, despite hardships, sad moments and trials."
