The Kremlin reacted after the former British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, told the BBC that Putin threatened him with missile attacks.
Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, called this statement a lie.
Peskov told reporters: What Mr. Johnson said is not true. More precisely, it is a lie. There was no missile threat.
He added that there may have been a misunderstanding on the part of Boris Johnson.
