Massacre in a school in Russia, among the 13 killed, 7 were children
A gunman has killed 13 people in a school. Among the victims, seven were children, school students. 21 others were injured.
The event took place in Izhevsk, the capital of the Udmurtia region. The motive remains unclear.
The aggressor was wearing a black T-shirt with Nazi symbols. His identity has not yet been revealed. After the massacre, he committed suicide.
The other victims were two teachers and two security guards. The injured are 14 children and seven adults.
The school serves to educate children from the first grade to the 11th grade. Currently, the students have been evacuated and work is being done to clarify the incident.
As in the USA, also in Russia mass murders in schools are repeated cases. In May 2021, a teenage gunman killed seven children and two adults in the city of Kazan. In April this year, a gunman killed two children and a teacher at a kindergarten in the central Ulyanovsk region before killing himself.
