A plane with 62 people on board has crashed on the outskirts of São Paulo, according to Brazil's Civil Defense.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has issued a statement to the media with the regret that all passengers may have died in the accident.
According to data on Flightradar24, the Voepass plane left Cascavel and was en route to São Paulo when it lost its signal shortly before 1:30 p.m. local time.
"There is still no confirmation of how the accident happened," Voepass said in a statement.
