Another European country lifts all travel restrictions. No vaccine or PCR test is needed
Portugal has lifted all of its travel restrictions as of July 1.
Travelers from all countries, both EU and non-EU, will no longer be required to undergo a COVID-19 test or present proof of vaccination when entering the country. This means that all visitors - even those who are not vaccinated - can now enter.
However, there are some rules related to COVID. Face masks are still mandatory on public transport and when traveling by taxi or other means of transport.
The country joins 24 other EU countries that have so far lifted all COVID-19 entry rules.
