Denmark's historic stock exchange building in Copenhagen has been engulfed in fire.
This building dates back to the 17th century, and is one of the oldest buildings in the city.
The famous spiral, with a shape reminiscent of four joined dragon tails, more than 50 meters high, collapsed in flames. The building was currently undergoing restoration and was therefore surrounded by scaffolding.

"This is our Notre-Dame," one witness, Henrik Grage, told Danish television, comparing the fire to the one that engulfed the top of the Paris cathedral in 2019.
