Thailand ends almost all travel restrictions
Thailand has lifted almost all Covid-19 restrictions on travelers.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand has said masks will no longer be required, and the country's color-coded system - which imposed restrictions that varied by province on dining activities, gatherings and travel - is also a thing of the past.
From July 1, travelers only need to show one Covid-related document to enter - either a vaccination certificate or a PCR test. The tourism authority said both print and digital formats are acceptable.
Unvaccinated travelers arriving in Thailand without a negative test result received within 72 hours of travel will be required to pay for and undergo a Covid-19 test in the country. Travelers who test positive must also pay their medical expenses.
