The US military is asking for the public's help in finding an $80 million plane
The United States Army has requested the help of citizens for the condition of an F-35 fighter jet, which was abandoned by the pilot, due to a defect.
The plane disappeared from radar on Sunday evening while flying south of South Carolina. The pilot encountered a breakdown in the aircraft and therefore jumped with a parachute.
The incident is still unclear, as authorities search around two lakes in Chaleston for the remains of the F-35B Lightning II aircraft.
Immediately after the incident, the military base in Charleston made a post on X, where it called the help of people to find the plane essential.
The F-35B Lightning II is an aircraft created by the company 'Lockheed Martin', it costs a full 80 million dollars and is one of the most advanced in air warfare.
