Countries that are still at high risk for Covid (and low risk)

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has listed two high-risk destinations from Covid-19.

The Dominican Republic and Kuwait, a Middle Eastern country known for its cultural offerings, are both now listed as "Level or Covid-19 High".

Level 3, or "high", is now the highest level in terms of risk and applies to countries that have had more than 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 28 days. Level 2 and Level 1 are considered "moderate" and "low" risk, respectively.

Level 2

Destinations bearing the designation "Level 2: Moderate Covid-19" reported 50 to 100 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 28 days.

• Iraq

Russia • Saudi Arabia

Level 1

To be rated as "Level 1: Covid-19 low", a destination must have had 49 or fewer new cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 28 days.

Some of the most popular countries in the "low" risk category include Indonesia, India and the Philippines.
