"GOOD MORNING. We work together for a more beautiful and functional city! With winning projects and the new call for applications, the Community Fund is helping to increase property values through building improvements. With 50% funding from the Municipality of Tirana and the contribution of the residents, we are building a more suitable environment for everyone. Residents who live in buildings built before the 90s, but not only, through the Community Fund can benefit from projects for the adjustment of the facade, thermal insulation, but also for the installation of elevators.
For projects that are approved, half of the expenses are paid by the residents, while the other half is paid by the municipality of Tirana.
The administrators of the buildings, elected by the residents' assembly and certified by the municipality, are the ones who carry out the procedures, after receiving the consent of at least 75% of the residents. The municipality has changed the instruction, which enables special treatment for some categories. Persons existing in the certificate of ownership who are pensioners, persons with disabilities or with economic assistance benefit from 100 percent of the grant. This has made it possible to increase the number of applications. The Community Fund has been applied since 2017.
