Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the tensions in the north of Kosovo. Through a post on Twitter, Rama says that he joins the concern of international partners after the situation created in North Mitrovica, where during today there were violent clashes between the police and Serbian protesters during the moment when the four elected mayors of the municipalities entered in offices under the presence of special forces.
"Does what is happening in Kosovo help the process in which all the great friends of Kosovo and the Albanians are engaged, for normalization and mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia?! Certainly not, as long as our greatest friends themselves deeply express their worried!
I join them in the appeal not to continue on this path, which is not only dangerous, but also completely unnecessary today, when the democratic world has placed the dialogue, normalization, and mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia in the center of attention." writes Rama.
