Majlinda Bregu: RCC offers another investment for young people

"I am proud to say that this initiative, undertaken for the first time by the RCC, is another signal of our commitment to the approach to Europe. From 241 applications received for the ETI program in Tirana, 121 young people were selected, about 118 interviews were conducted - currently 33 accepted students, half EU citizens, half from the Western Balkans. The College of Europe has not yet finalized the selection for the scholarship, so we are eagerly waiting for the name of the student who will benefit from the RCC scholarship," said Bregu.

"We are happy that the Regional Cooperation Council has decided to support the College of Europe in the historic construction of our new campus in Tirana, through a new scholarship scheme. The mission of the College of Europe towards further European integration is fully compatible with the mission of the Regional Cooperation Council, which has worked tirelessly towards the full European integration of its members since its creation. As our campus will grow in the coming years, we are committed to further explore this partnership and support each other to maximize our impact," said Ms Mogherini.

The scholarship provided by RCC will cover tuition, accommodation and among other things, academic study trips. The supported student will be selected as a candidate, in accordance with the requirements of the College of Europe. The courses will start in August.
