Prime Minister Edi Rama met in New York the former American ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim. The news was made known by the former ambassador herself through a post on the X platform, where she writes that she feels satisfied when she sees that Prime Minister Rama chaired the Security Council debate on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
"Pleased to see the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama at UNGA78, where he chaired the Security Council debate on Russia's invasion of Ukraine. We also had the opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the United States and Albania, support for Albania's EU membership path and our cooperation in NATO and the UN Security Council," Kim wrote.
