A street in Tirana is named after Prof. Artan Boricit
Another street in Tirana joins the chain of honored names of the city. The City Council of Tirana has approved naming one of the streets in the capital after Prof. Artan Boricit. Mayor Erion Veliaj symbolically handed over a sign with the name of the street to the family members.

Prof. Artan Boriçi worked for almost 25 years as a lecturer in the Department of Physics of this faculty. In 1996, he received the degree of Doctor of Mathematical Sciences at ETH, Zurich, Switzerland, from 2010 he held the title "Professor Doctor" and in 2020 he became a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Albania. Prof. Boriçi is known in the scientific world with the lattice field theory for "Boriçi-Creutz fermions". Also, Prof. Artan Boriçi cooperated closely with scientific institutions such as the Academy of Sciences of Albania and with other prestigious institutions such as the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (for proposing the Nobel Prizes in Physics), the European Nuclear Research Center CERN, the Center for Intensive Computing in Jylih Germany etc.
