NATO deploys additional forces in Kosovo
The tense situation in the north of Kosovo and the violence against 30 members of KFOR has made NATO take the decision to deploy additional forces in the territory of Kosovo.
Through a post on Twitter, NATO informs that it has deployed in Kosovo, the Operational Reserve Forces for the Western Balkans, which was deployed in the peninsula for 7 days.
"NATO places additional forces in the Kosovo Force. In response to the recent unrest and the injury of 30 members of the KFOR Force, NATO has directed the deployment in Kosovo of the Operational Reserve Force (ORF) for the Western Balkans, which was on a seven-day alert," writes NATO in a reaction on Twitter.
