Besnik Krapi for Jonida's father: Dementia took him slowly, but he never saw the love he shared with us
Besnik Krapi made a sad note for Jonida's father after his death. With compassion, love, respect for his father-in-law, but also for the family members who served and gave love back to his father who was suffering from dementia.
Besnik also spoke about Jonida Vokshi's father in the podcast with Mira Kazhan. He shared a funny moment at that time to show the differences between the men of Albania and Kosovo.

We lost a special man, not only Jonida's father, but a friend and a kindred spirit. He loved me like his son, always kind, with memories filled with music and stories.
Emi, my sissy, grew up with his fairy tales and lullabies from birth.
Dementia took her slowly, but it could never extinguish the love she shared with us. For years, Jonida, Vjollca and Dori took care of him with patience and dedication. They treated him with respect and without anger, returning all the love he had given them. Although dementia is not easy for the people around him, they chose love to help him with all their souls.
Love changes everything. For someone with dementia, it is like a light in the darkness, it stays with them when nothing else remains clear. Dementia takes a toll, but love returned gives them a sense of peace, even when they feel lost. Sometimes we forget how powerful love is, but in the most difficult moments, it is the only thing that keeps them safe.
Rest in peace, Jaja. Your memories will always live with us, and the love you shared will last forever.
To Jonida, Vjollca and Dori: Well done for everything you have done; be proud of the unconditional love and devotion you gave him until the end. All those who have loved ones with dementia, try to follow the example of Jonida, Vjollca and Dori: offer unconditional love and care, because this is the strength that helps them feel safe and loved. Rest in peace Lord!
