Famous Italian model Bianca Balti optimistically shares her battle with cancer

With optimism and hope, the well-known Italian model, Bianca Balti, has revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer.
The 40-year-old model has published moments from the hospital to show that life is worth fighting for and smiling even in difficult moments, in dark days where hope seems scarce.
" Last Sunday, I checked into the ER to find out my lower abdominal pain was stage 3 ovarian cancer. It's been a week full of fear, pain, and tears, but mostly love, hope, laughter, and strength. (see these photos for proof) I have a long journey ahead of me, but I know I will beat this. For myself, my loved ones (my girls are at the top of the list), and all of you in need for strength, you can borrow some of mine. Life happens; so far, cancer has given me a chance to find beauty through life's obstacles.
Two years ago, Bianca was diagnosed with a genetic predisposition to ovarian cancer, and made the decision to remove her ovaries and breast.
"Undergoing major surgery like a double mastectomy or hysterectomy when your breasts and ovaries are healthy is a complicated and personal choice. No one can or should be judged. I admire the courage of the women who have done it before me, and thanks to the testimonies of those who have written to me in the last week, I too have found the strength I didn't think I had", said the model then.
