The 2023 Super Bowl is Rihanna's
Rihanna will sing at the Super Bowl. She gave the news herself through a post where she is holding the ball of the game of the year.
As tradition requires, at halftime of the game, every year a female singer goes up to perform on the giant stage. With the exception of 2020, when two, Shakira and J.Lo, took the stage as representatives of the Latin current.
Rihanna will perform at the Super Bowl in February 2023, after turning down an invitation in 2019 in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. In an interview with Vogue at the time, she revealed that she said "No" to the concert in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, the former NFL quarterback who was the first player to protest police brutality and social inequality during the national anthem.
