Pension at home, how many pensioners receive this service against payment

Triggered by a video of the blogger Estela Ujka, Tiranapost did a search to understand the reason for the queues of pensioners and whether there is an offer from the Albanian Post to send their pensions home.
Tiranapost contacted representatives of the Albanian Post, who told us that currently in Tirana, together with the Municipality of Kavaja, about 20,000 pensioners have subscribed to the home mail service.
According to the data, this figure represents nearly 20% of the total pensioners in this county who have chosen to take their pension at home to avoid long queues at the counters, out of the 110,000 pensions that are distributed in total in Tirana.
While in the whole country there are nearly 160,000 pensioners who have signed a permanent contract with the post office for sending their pension to their address every month.
To benefit from this service, the pensioner or his relative must fill in the application form at the post office where the pensioner currently draws his pension.
The service fee is symbolic, only 100 ALL.
