For the first time in girls' football, an Albanian team will participate in a European championship. The girls of Vllaznia have qualified for the Champions League, after the most recent victory at the "Loro Borichi" stadium in Shkodra with the Ukrainian girls of Vorskla Kharkiv.
The Chairperson of the Girls' Football Commission in Albania, Anila Basha, has congratulated the Vllaznia team for this qualification, wishing them success in the European competition.

This game is getting very strong. What the boys could not do, the girls achieved best. Now, the girls of Vllaznia in Europe are a reality that we will all enjoy. First of all, our talented footballers themselves, the city of Shkodra that they represent with their hearts and all of Albania.
The girls of Vllaznia beat the Ukrainians of Vorskla Kharkiv today in "Loro Borici" with the result 2 - 1 and this result takes them to the Champions League groups for the first time.
In my personal name, as the chairperson of the Girls' Football Commission in Albania, I express my gratitude for the hard work of the football girls themselves and the staff who train them with dedication day after day.
