These are the most expensive cities in the world to live in 2022

The most expensive cities in the world for this year are New York and Singapore, followed by Tel Aviv.

There were four European cities in the top 10 – Zurich, Paris, Copenhagen and Geneva.

According to the Worldwide Cost of Living Index, the average cost of living has increased by 8.1% in 2022, due to the Russian war in Ukraine and the ongoing effects of the pandemic.

Here are the countries that were ranked in the top 10:

4. Hong Kong and Los Angeles (tie)

6. Office, Switzerland

7. Geneva, Switzerland

8. San Francisco, California

9. Paris, France

10. Copenhagen, Denmark
