A friendship can last forever. 4 friends have returned to a city they visited 50 years ago together to recreate a photo that proves that true friendship exists.
The British girls pictured Marion Bamforth, Sue Morris, Carol Ansbro and Mary Helliwell were on holiday 50 years ago in the coastal town of Devon, in the south of Britain.
They were 17 years old at the time.
They were school friends who grew up in Halifax, in the north of England, who had gone on a caravan holiday in Devon to have fun on the coast.
Now in 2024 it seems that Bamforth, Morris, Ansbro and Helliwell have maintained their friendship in addition to their careers, marriages and children born, as well as the inevitable pain and wounds of life.
