Portugal has announced that it will release a €7 coin to honor football legend Cristiano Ronaldo in recognition of his achievements.
The all-time top scorer for the Portugal national football team with 130 goals has made many important contributions to his nation.
Including leading Portugal to a historic victory at Euro 2016 and winning the UEFA Nations League title in 2018/19.
The coin is designed with the image of Ronaldo, and "CR7" is written on it. The coin once launched will be an acceptable form of spending in the country.
