Why did Squid Gamma leave all Netflix series behind?

"Squid Game" is the series that is breaking viewership records. 111 million people have watched this series in less than four weeks. Leaving behind "Bridgerton" seen by 88 million users. These are figures published by Netflix and are not included in this calculation, viewers from pirated sites. So the number has to be much higher.
"Bridgerton" is known as a series where romance prevails as opposed to "Squid Game" where some of the first violent scenes ever prevail.
A survival game where there are also bloody scenes. The fact that this series is based on reality may have greatly affected the audience. As in real life, economic and social inequalities remain a key factor. So people have chosen to watch the violence, before the love of "Bridgerton".
This fact has sparked debate: whether visibility is being chosen by Netflix users themselves or is it a consequence of the algorithm?
