Çmimet Emmy 2024 përmbyllën një vit të jashtëzakonshëm për "Shogun", seriali dramatik japonez që çoi në shtëpi katër nga statujat më të rëndësishme.
Triumfi i serialit dramatik japonez në Emmy Awards është dëshmi e nevojës për identitet në Hollivud, por edhe nevojës së vetë Hollivudit për t`u hapur ndaj emrave të rinj, që kërkon të thyejë establishmentin.
Emmys këtë vit folën japonisht, pasi Shogun jo vetëm që mori rekord çmimesh, por është edhe një serial i transmetuar në japonisht. Ai është i pari film në gjuhë të huaj që merr çmimin “Seriali më i mirë dramatik” në gjithë historinë.
Po në japonisht foli edhe kasti teksa mori çmimet.
“Duam të shprehim mirënjohjen e thellë për stafin, regjisorët dhe këdo që realizoi dhe mbështeti serialin tonë dramatik. Pasioni dhe ëndrrat që trashëguam nga ju kaluan oqeane dhe kufij”.
Anëtarët e kastit japonez Hiroyuki Sanada (Yoshii Toranaga) dhe Anna Sawai (Toda Mariko) rrëmbyen gjithashtu çmimet për aktorët më të mirë protagonistë, në një serial dramatik.
