The well-known actor from Korçë, Zhani Ziçishti, has passed away at the age of 86, one of the most beloved figures of the Albanian stage and screen.
The news was made public by the Korça Art and Culture Center, which in an official announcement expresses its sorrow for the loss of the artist who gave Albanian theater and film years of dedication, passion and professionalism. Ziçishti will remain in the memory of art lovers for his valuable contribution to interpretive art and for the roles that marked an era of Albanian theater and cinema.
Tributes in his honor will take place on February 26, from 09:30 to 10:30, in the lobby of the theater in Korça.
The artistic community, friends and family say their final goodbyes to an actor who for decades was part of the cultural identity of the city and beyond.
