Kristin Cabot is 53 years old today, a mother of two, and until July 2025, exactly one year ago, she was the head of Human Resources at the company Astronomer. After that date, she became the most searched woman on the Internet: just 16 seconds on the “kiss cam” during a concert at Boston’s Gillette Stadium, where she appeared hugging her then-boss, Andy Byron. From the stage, singer Chris Martin joked about a possible relationship between them.
The video received over 130 million views. Both resigned from their positions almost immediately. Byron returned to his life with his wife Megan Kerrigan and their children. Cabot, meanwhile, says he had broken up with her a few weeks before the concert, but that didn't get him his job back.
A year later, according to an interview with The Boston Globe, she still remains unemployed. She is living off her savings, including money she had set aside for her children's college education and her own retirement.
She says she faced numerous insults and was even called a "fortune hunter." It was only in June 2026 that she plucked up the courage to attend another concert, this time by Jack Johnson. According to her, she has not spoken to Byron since that incident.
