The first internship program for young filmmakers! New film studio area to be built in Albania

During the opening of the Muse-x event, the President of the National Center of Cinematography, Jonid Jorgji, in the presence of Minister Blendi Gonxhja, announced two major developments for the future of the film industry in the country. With the slogan Albanian Film Industry, Worl in Progress announced that in addition to the launch of the first real internship program dedicated to young filmmakers and art students, the long-awaited news of the construction of a new film studio zone in Albania was also announced, which will serve as the main engine of this revitalized industry.
Through the new education initiative, every film production funded by the CCK will be required to include young filmmakers from this program in its production staff, alongside industry professionals. This direct experience on set will go beyond internships, as the credits earned will be officially recognized by students in their university assessments. Furthermore, this internship program will also extend to important foreign productions, covering a map from Europe to the United States of America.
Currently, the possibility of close collaborations with the largest film companies in the world is being seen, in order for young Albanians to gain professional experience of the highest global standards. With the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports and Minister Gonxha himself and in support of this new generation of professionals, the news of the construction of the new film studio complex marks a historic moment for the country's infrastructure. This project aims to turn Albania into a large and modern filming location, attracting international productions and at the same time offering the missing space for local creators. Both of these concrete steps directly serve the "work in progress" vision of strengthening Albanian cinematography, transforming it into a true economic and cultural potential.
