Today, the final farewell is given to Dhimitër Anagnosti, tributes are held

Director Dhimitër Anagnosti will be escorted to his final resting place, in Vuno, Himara, his birthplace.

Tributes will be held in the Opera and Ballet Theater Hall from 10:00-13:00, where family, friends and colleagues will bid their final farewell to the master of the arts.


Dhimitër Anagnosti, one of the most prominent figures of Albanian cinematography, passed away at the age of 89.

In his 40-year career, Anagnosti wrote 15 screenplays, while directing 14 feature films, 10 documentaries, and receiving several national and international awards.
