Three nights of concerts in Tirana for fans of Jazz and Blues music

On September 10, 11 and 12, Tirana will host the III Edition of the "Gjon Mili Jazz & Blues Festival".

Due to the atmospheric conditions, the first night will be held at the "Avni Mula" hall, at the "Servete Maçi" school. The other days of the festival, depending on the weather conditions, will take place in the Reja Installation Garden - The Cloud. Feativali will offer a diverse musical program with the participation of six musical formations and thirty well-known and young musicians from Albania and abroad. Among the special guests this year are "Roaring Cats" from Holland, "Barista 3" from Austria, and "Roberto Tarenzi Trio" from Italy.

A special focus of this edition is the promotion of new talents, with the presence of formations such as "AJS Quartet", "Elona Islamaj Trio", and "UART Combo", students of the new branch "Jazz Music" at the University of Arts.

The third night will be dedicated to the famous Italian-American composer Harry Warren, for whom some of his best-known songs will be performed, highlighting his connection with the Albanian heritage.

Gjon Mili Jazz & Blues Festival aims to promote jazz and blues music, as well as to promote artistic activity and creativity among Albanian and international musicians. This festival is a great opportunity to help the development of jazz music in Albania and to encourage new generations in this art.

This event is organized by RIAS in cooperation with the National Youth Congress and supported by the Municipality of Tirana, the Ministry of Culture, Economy and Innovation, as well as several embassies and international cultural institutions.
