How to choose the perfect lipstick according to your lip shape

Lips say a lot about every woman: from shape to color, they have been a symbol of beauty and personality since ancient times.
Today, thanks to the advice of international stars, any type of lip can be highlighted with the right lipstick, choosing colors and textures that highlight your best features.
Discovering your lip shape: the first step towards perfect make-up
Knowing your lip shape is essential for choosing the right makeup and feeling confident and attractive. The ideal lipstick should not only emphasize, but also harmonize and, if necessary, correct.
Full and sensual lips , with balanced volume above and below, can sometimes look too dominant. To visually soften the volume, dark, matte lipsticks are recommended, which make the lips look thinner. Strong reds and very shiny glosses should be avoided, as they increase the effect of volume.
Heart-shaped lips , distinguished by the small arch of the upper lip (Cupid's bow), are beautifully accentuated with a slightly darker lip pencil for the contour, blended inwards. A touch of gloss in the center of the upper lip makes the smile brighter and more sensual.
Thin lips look delicate and less voluminous, but with the right trick, an optical effect of fullness can be created. Light shades, such as peach or powder pink, are ideal for visually expanding them. For special occasions, a little trick is to pass a damp gauze over the lips before application, for a temporary puffy effect.
Round lips , with an almost circular shape and fullness, go well with bright textures, which emphasize volume without weighing down the look. Very dark colors should be avoided, as they can make the mouth look "tight."
Long lips can hide very beautiful smiles, but sometimes they appear visually “long.” In this case, it is advisable to draw the contour slightly inside the natural line with a light pencil, to optically shorten the shape, and combine it with light lipstick.
