Manpower crisis! Albania is expected to receive 40 thousand employees from foreign countries

Albania is suffering from a lack of qualified employees in all its sectors, from the fashion industry to the tourism or technology sector.
In order to supply the market with qualified staff, Albania is in talks with a foreign country (according to media reports, it is the Philippines) to receive nearly 40,000 foreign workers.
Discussions about this agreement were announced by Albin Gega, the General Director of Employment and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Economy.
"The Ministry is making good efforts to get quality employees from the foreign market. What I am saying as a young woman that will happen very soon is that we are at the end of a contract with a state that has qualified, professional employees in several industries, including tourism and clothing. I think that very soon this connection agreement will become possible, and we will have qualified employees who will meet the needs of the business for qualified employees. So our efforts, in addition to increasing quality and performance through training, will also go towards providing opportunities for employees.'- said Gega.
