The two details during the funeral that may have escaped you, but that connected Meghan with the queen

By Emi Seiti/ Meghan Markle honored Queen Elizabeth II (husband's grandmother), despite problems with the royal family. Not only did she leave her two young children with her mother and come from California, but she represented herself in the most subtle way possible. How? Through clothing. That even cases of mourning require class. Especially when all the cameras, cameras and eyes of the world are on you.

Meghan was careful not to forget the diamond and pearl earrings the Queen gave her on her first outing in 2018. Jewelry was not the only thing that connected him to the queen.

Even the black dress by Stella McCartney, with a cape on top, was almost identical to what Meghan wore to the Royal Albert when she celebrated the Queen's 92nd birthday.

The Duchess of Sussex has worn cape dresses several times since joining the royal family – she wore a cream Givenchy cape dress during an engagement in 2018; or during the tour in Morocco and the South Pacific.
